ONLINE REGISTRATION

Mt Gravatt Hawks FC provides online registration and online payment options. using this online registration and payment system means that you will be able to register and pay your registration fees online without the need to attend our Sign-on Day. Online registration is available through MyFootballClub - www.myfootballclub.com.au (available from Monday 9th January 2017)

You can register online at anytime, or you can attend a sign-on day to obtain further information or make a manual payment.

Payment by credit card in person at the club will attract a surcharge, so paying online not only saves you time, but also avoids merchant fees.

If you register online and opt to pay in person, then you must pay your fees before attending any training or grading sessions. You must make payment at one of our Junior Sign On sessions (dates listed above), otherwise registrations will not be processed and any registrations of interest made online will be declined if they are not finalised on one of the registration days. Please note that you can opt at anytime to log into MyFootballClub and select PAY NOW and complete your registration online.

All players that are registering online must register in their correct age groups. Junior Girls U11 or older should register in the Junior Girls category. All other players must register in their relevant age group and will be allocated to appropriate teams after consideration by club officials. See General Information to ensure you have selected the correct age group.

Registrations that are not finalised (payment made) by the Junior Sign On days will be declined to allow new players to register, unless you have contacted our Junior Directors (juniors@mtgravatthawks.org) and made alternative arrangements to finalise your registration. Payment of fees will not be available at grading or team placement nights and players cannot grade or be placed in a team until their fees have been paid.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS: Players (U6-U16) are entitled to a family discount on their second and subsequent registration. The condition is that at least one person in the immediate family must be a member (all members must be over the age of 18, therefore a parent of a child playing at Mt Gravatt is the member). The first child is charged the full registration price and the second and subsequent children given a discount.

In order to apply this discount when registering online, on the second or subsequent registration you should select "Purchase Additional Items" on the screen where you are presented with the amount payable (this is before you make payment). Select the "2nd + player registration" item with a price of -$60 and that amount will be applied to your invoice. Then simply pay online or produce the invoice - remember to bring the invoice with you if you are paying in-person.

A family discount also applies if the 2nd or subsequent registration is a senior player (provided that the player is Under 18 years of age at time of registration or the player is already a member by having registered a child to play e.g. parent/guardian). Discounts only apply to immediate family and all players 18 and older must be members of the club and therefore can not be bundled and therefore a family discount does not apply.

NOTE:  Discounts DO NOT apply for Jinga Futebol Registrations (U3-U8) as these programs are provided by a third party provider and are independent of Mt Gravatt Hawks FC. If you are wanting to register with Jinga Futebol, please see theoir website for details - www.jingafutebol.com

It is Club Policy that all players in Divisional (Under 12-16) teams be graded. This ensures that players are playing at a level appropriate to their skill level which should ensure that they get maximum enjoyment from their football. Grading is determined by nominated officials and includes the coach for the highest graded team in that age group. The club's decision on grading is final.

We require players in Under 8's, 9’s, 10’s and 11’s to nominate if they are interested in playing in an MiniRoos Komodo Dragon team within their age groups. The Komodo Dragons players are to have average to above average football skills as matches are usually played with a high skill level. These teams will not be determined based on “playing with your mates” and may require a final selection process if player numbers accommodate this. A check box will be placed on the registration allowing you to tick this box if you would like to be considered for a Komodo Dragons team.

MINIROOS PROGRAM (U6-U11)

Mini Roos program by Football Federation Australia (FFA) is a modified form of the world game and is specifically designed to increase player participation and enjoyment. Smaller teams (and field size) actually increase the number of touches on the ball. It's more fun!!.

U6 and U7 play 4 v 4 on a 1/8 park, U8 and 9 play 7v7 on a 1/4 park and U10 and 11 play 9v9 on a 1/2 size field.

For more information on the FFA's MiniRoos Program click [HERE]

NOTE: PLAYERS BORN 2006-2009 (UNDER 8, 9, 10 AND 11)

Football Brisbane has introduced a “soft grading” model for these age groups. Clubs are offered the opportunity to group experienced players (with average to above average skills) together and nominate teams in the Komodo Dragons hub. This allows players of similar abilities to play in the same team and against teams of similar abilities.

This season in Under 8's, 9’s, 10’s and 11’s we are giving players the opportunity to nominate if they are interested in playing in a Komodo Dragons team within their age groups. These teams will not be determined based on “playing with your mates” and may require a final selection process if player numbers accommodate this. A check box will be placed on the registration allowing you to tick this box if you would like to be considered for a Komodo Dragons team.

For more information relating to the Komodo Dragons grading and nomination process, please contact Luke Excell at juniors@mtgravatthawks.org

KOMODO DRAGONS (U8-11)

If you have opted to be considered for a Komodo Dragons team grading (U8-U11 only) , then please be aware that teams for 2017 have been selected. Of you wish to be considered for a Komodo team, you must contact our Junior Adminstrators - juniors@mtgravatthawks.org

MINIROOS (U8-11) TEAM PLACEMENT

Please note that in these age groups, there is no grading of players. Players are able to nominate other players they wish to play with, however these requests will need to made on your Online Registration (see questions are the end of the registration process) or on Registration Day. Placement in a team with those players is not guaranteed, but where possible all requests will be accommodated. It is important that all players attend the appropriate Team Placement date and time so that Coaches, Managers and Teams can be finalised and training times confirmed.
