JUNIOR GRADING GAMES 11-12 FEB  

We have organised grading games for Sat 11 and Sun 12 Feb - These games are by invitation only (please check with your coach as to whether you are required to play). Players should arrive no less that 45 minutes for the scheduled kick off. All players to bring along $2 to cover the cost of referees.

It is compulsory to wear licenced team gear (shorts and socks) to offically sanctioned matches, therefore we will be operating our merchandise area on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th February (this week). This will be your last chance to buy merchandise until early March!

JUNIOR SIGN ON - SEASON 2012

Mt Gravatt Hawks Soccer Club Inc. invites new and existing members to register for the 2012 Season. Junior Sign On will continue on Wednesday Nights from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Any outstanding payments can only be made on this night - payments will not be taken at any other time.

Places are limited and the following status applies to age groups:

In 2012 we are encouraging everyone to make use of Online Registration through the www.myfootballclub.com.au website. This year we are also offering the ability to pay your registration fees online avoiding the need to attend one of our Sign On days.

We have tried to keep fee increases as a minimum and whilst we have been able to hold our match fees without increase, we have unfortunately had to pass on fee increases from our governing bodies. As an incentive for registering online, we are offering a discounted fee - you can register and pay online, or you can register and then attend one of our Sign On days to pay in person (please note that you will need to bring your Tax Invoice with you).

Please note that if you have registered online and you have opted to pay online, that payment must be made as soon as possible, otherwise your place may be offered to other players. You still have the option to go back online and PAY NOW or come in person to the club on the dates above and complete your registration. Once payment is processed you will sent an email with details regarding grading times, team placement etc!!!

Payment is NOT available on training nights and you cannot grade or be placed in a team unless your fees are paid in full!!!!

All players must wear Mt Gravatt shorts and socks and as part of the Football Queensland licensing scheme those items must be licensed merchandise. The club will supply a playing shirt on each game day.

A range of other Mt Gravatt clothing items are available including training shirts, club polos, supporter t-shirts, beanies, jackets and bags. Its will be available for sale on those nights or through the canteen during the season.

SAPPHIRE WOMEN PRESEASON TRAINING

Mt Gravatt Hawks Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Joe Disavia has been appointed the Sapphire League's Coach for 2012. The club would like to welcome Joe to the club and we are sure that he will be a value contribution to the club's coaching staff. Joe comes well qualified and he was selected on his passion for football development and he has a focus on rebuilding our women's teams.

NOTE: We have reduced the Registration Fees for Sapphire Women to $240 flat fee (includes all equipment, levies, match fees, insurance etc). Mt Gravatt is committted to rebuilding it's Women's Program and invites new players who wish to be part of this rebuilding.

New players are welcome and training is on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7pm. Training goes ahead regardless of weather. Players are asked to also include running shoes, towel and swimmers as part of their training kit.

JOIN THE E!VOLUTION  

Mt Gravatt Hawks Soccer Club is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced coaches for our junior teams (boys and girls) for next season.

Mt Gravatt will be fielding teams across all age groups (U12 - U17) and within BJL, Div 1 and other divisions. Mt Gravatt is committed to providing excellent development opportunities and ensures a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to improve player, team and coach knowledge.

The development program within Mt Gravatt is committed to following the philosophies of the FFA National Curriculum, as such we seek coaches who are enthusiastic to drive football development forwards.

PREMIER MEN'S PRESEASON TRAINING

Mt Gravatt Hawks Soccer Club Inc. invites all interested senior players wishing to trial for our Premier Men's teams to preseason training on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Players should be at Dittmer Park by 6:30pm ready for a 7pm start. Training is on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7pm.

METRO PRESEASON TRAINING

Metro Men's has started Wednesday Nights. Any players wishing to play for our Metro teams (likely divisions Metro 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) should contact Andrew Lulham on either email andrew@mtgravatthawks.org or 0427 229 053 or come to training on Wednesday nights - new players welcome!!.

Places are becoming limited, so if you are interested please ensure to contact Andrew or come along to training on Wednesday nights.

ZOVA AT MT GRAVATT - PRESEASON PROGRAM 2012  

Niall McCarthy and his team from ZOVA have been delivering ZOVA sessions to all players between the ages of 5 - 11 years. This program is being extended now into the 2012 Preseason - The program will consist of ball skills, small sided games, shooting and many other fun, beneficial and engaging exercises.

This website is usually updated by 4pm on training days and 7:30am on game days regarding whether the fields are open or closed. If there is nothing on the website, assume that training is ON. If unexpected wet weather occurs after 4pm, training may still be cancelled.
